THE 2015 NORTH AMERICAN WINTER MEETING of the Econometric Society will be held in Boston, MA on January 3-5, 2015, as part of the annual meeting of the Allied Social Science Associations. The program will consist of contributed and invited papers.

For more than fifty years, the European Winter Meetings have fostered interaction among a small group of young scholars, who presented their work by invitation, and a group of senior academics representing different regions and fields of specialization. Many of today’s leading European economists kick-started their careers at one of these meetings. At the turn of the century, the meetings began to focus on PhD students close to finishing their thesis.

The 2014 annual meeting for the Latin American Meeting of the Econometric Society (LAMES) and the Latin American Caribbean Economic Association (LACEA) and will take place in São Paulo, Brazil, from November 20 - 22, 2014, hosted by University of São Paulo, Brazil, from November 20 - 22, 2014, hosted by University of São Paulo (USP).
The two meetings will run in parallel, sharing a single local organizing committee. By registering for LACEA-LAMES 2014 participants will be able to attend all sessions of both meetings.

The 68th European Meeting of the Econometric Society (ESEM) will take place in Toulouse (France) from August 25 to 29, 2014. The Meeting is hosted by the Toulouse School of Economics and University Toulouse 1 Capitole and will run in parallel with the 29th Annual Congress of the European Economic Association (EEA). Participants will be able to attend all sessions of both events.

Econometric Society is pleased to announce “2nd Summer School of Econometric Society" will be held in Hanyang University, Seoul, Korea, August 5-9, 2014. The theme of the 2nd Summer School is "Frontiers of Economic Theory." Five experts on microeconomic theory will deliver lectures: (listed in alphabetical order) In-Koo Cho (University of Illinois), Akihiko Matsui (University of Tokyo), Ariel Rubinstein (Tel Aviv University and New York University), Joel Sobel (University of California, San Diego) and Asher Wolinsky (Northwestern University).
